There are some other amazing attractions to visit in Pokhara, but we decided to skip them because we opted for the adventure activities that Pokhara had to offer. The beauty of Pokhara lies in its easy accessibility. Everything within the centre of Pokhara is easily accessible by foot, and the views of the lake will ensure that you don’t feel tired or fatigued.
At 6 am on the dot, we followed our guide to a small bus which was to be our 3 hour ride to the Last Resort. With scenic views along the way and a delightful mid-way tea break spot, the ride was flawless and before we knew it, we had reached our destination.
The Philippines absolutely stole my heart when I visited it earlier this year. Even a 22 days vacation left me wanting more, and sobbing on my last night at Manila.
During the day, the volcano looks like a normal volcano, but at night it is a dazzling light show. The blue fire/ blue flame at Ijen should not be mistaken as molten lava. The blue glow is actually the light from burning of sulphuric gases...
After our amazing sunrise view of the majestic UNESCO World Heritage Site of the infamous Mount Bromo, it was now time to catch a much closer view – this time by climbing up the active Bromo volcano itself!
Bandung has the most factory outlets in all of Indonesia! You may be wondering what “factory outlets” actually are. Factory Outlets are stores where good, specifically surplus stock, is sold directly by the manufacturer. So, if you’re looking for your fix of your favorite brands like Gucci, Chanel, Hugo Boss or Armani, these are the spots for you!
After a bit of deliberation, we decided to opt for the beef ravioli in cream sauce, the beef croquettes and the house special kwetiauw. The ravioli was, undoubtedly, the highlight of the meal. Perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection.
Let me explain the landscape of these destinations – both these places are situated in hard-to-reach places, and finding your way there, maintaining the correct time for the sunrise, finding the viewpoints, organizing your own lodging and transport – that is all damn freaking difficult to do, especially if you’re short on time! Plus, apparently, you don’t save much $$$ and run the risk of missing out on the vantage spots. Sad, but true.
“Begum Café” is located a short distance away from the famous Zinda Park. Once you are on the Zinda Park road, keep going straight ahead and you will find this cute café a short distance down the road, located on your right.
If you are anything like me i.e. a foodie who appreciates, recognizes, values and understands food, then I’d advise you to not delay any longer and make your way to the most authentic Italian joint in town – this wonderful restaurant called “Tuscany”.
Most tourists make the mistake of visiting Santorini as part of a day trip, whilst sailing around Greece. Others make the mistake of simply visiting for a couple of days, hurriedly checking out as many spots as they can and watching the famous sunset at Oia. Me? I’m different. And I suggest you start being different too…at least as far as Santorini is concerned.

Our reasoning is simple – El Nido is a place of magical exploration and fun, it hardly makes sense for you to spend $$$ just to sit in an overwater bungalow and not partaking of any of the activities and attractions that El Nido has to offer. We would rather suggest that you spend your money on what counts (like El Nido Tour A for example).
Majority of the international travelers and tourists coming to the Philippines, will first land in Manila. Now Manila itself is simply a city, albeit a major and vast one, but if it is beaches and water sports and island adventures that you are after, your destination in the Philippines should be El Nido, located in Palawan. So, how do you get from Manila to El Nido?
If you haven’t heard about El Nido in Palawan, Philippines, then you truly have been living under a rock! This incredible destination has swept the travel world with constant waves and glimpses of Philippines hidden treasures. To break it down simply, ALL tour operators in El Nido offer 4 island hopping tours: Tour A, Tour B, Tour C and Tour D. This is a review of Tour A, which we did in El Nido on our very second day.

We were then informed about our next itinerary stop – the infamous Small Lagoon!
